I grew up in a small town along the tropical coasts of Nayarit, Mexico. Far from the distractions of city life, my childhood was filled with crafting and creating alongside my greatest teachers

my great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother.

Each of these incredible women shaped who I am today. My great-grandmother embroidered servilletas to sustain herself with grace and resilience until her last years. My grandmother, fearless and full of heart, mastered countless forms of art and inspired me to lead with courage. And my mother, the most determined go-getter I know, continues to nourish thousands every year with her soul-healing meals.

Qué Monito is my homage to them,
